Alright, it's time for last months site statistics for May.

Page Views - 14,595
Unique Visitors - 8,434
Alexa Rank - 285,549
Technorati Rank - 233,847
Email Subscribers - 88

Last month I estimated/goal to have atleast 2,500 unique visitors and have a Alexa Ranking of 420k, but I over met my expectations! I received triple of uniques visitors and Alexa rank was so much lower than I assumed, so it seems I'm cutting myself short here.

So I guess for June's Goals I will come up with some goals that i doubt i would get and see how that would goes.

Get Yourself Involved in Chat Rooms and Message Boards

Get yourself involved in chat rooms and message boards if your looking for free quality traffic to your website/blog.

Chat rooms are simultaneous online conversations with multiple people at the same time and message boards are places where messages are posted usually involving a discussion on a particular topic to help each other, also used to promote websites or upcoming movies to create some buzz within the community.

I will be proving you with some chat rooms and message boards a little later on in this post, but first let me explain a few things, many of these sites have rules on what you can and cannot post on their site, please read their rules before posting if you don't want to be banned!

Some sites does not allow URL's to be placed, but the ones that do, people do one big mistake, they put something along these lines...
"Check out My Site Now! www.ineedalex.com"
Do you really expect someone to click? There is a way to get around this problem, just mentioning your site, what happens is most people will just disregard that link, so this is what you do, after you have been in discussion for awhile, ask some people if they have their own website, then you can introduce your site, I guarantee that 7/10 people who are in discussion with you will click on that link to check your site.

I suggest after picking a few of the chat rooms & message boards that fits your criteria, to at least post 1-3 times per week on message boards and try to chat at least once per week on chat rooms. You wouldn't want others not to forget about you, But obviously this all depends on how busy your schedule is, just don't over do it, but be consistent.

You should also consider one other thing, is your business local? are you trying to attract local customers? Then you should consider looking for sites that concentrates on your particular location.

I want to explain a little about the ebay pulse, the pulse is a page on ebay that shows the most watched items in it’s category.

By getting on the ebay pulse your business can double or even triple within a short amount of time. To be in the ebay pulse, it requires about 50-150 watchers.

This secret code basically makes anyone who goes to a page with the code automatically makes them watch your item without them knowing, which makes ebayers pissed, because you end up having tons of auctions that you don't even care about in your watch list!

I suggest highly you don't use this code, especially in the auction itself, you can either be suspended or even worst banned from ebay by using this code, as it is considered to be cheating and it is.

I wanted to show you this code as i hate people that are selling this code for $10-$50 on ebay and it's all common knowledge. But many ebayers don't know this code.

P.S. Never use this code ever! Just disregard it from your brain!

SPOTTT Free Link Exchange

One site where you can advertise your website or blog is Spottt.com, a free link exchange website.
It is very easy to sign up and you don't have to really do anything after you have signed up!
But im not too sure if i reccomend this, as i havent seen any change in traffic from this free service, but if it doesn't work so well for me does not mean it would not for you! So i suggest to sign up as it is free after all, can't complain!

Link Building Method

Using the link building method is one good stragedy, link building is when you have alot of your links placed on alot of websites. So like drop your website link in a blog, ebay about me pages, link directories etc....

You can also Link exchange with other sites, just ask them if they would like to swap links, they put your link on their site and you do the same with their website link.

Try to link exchange with similar sites to yours to put this method into play.
