Interesting Video.. I like to think that Blogger are better than Journalist. Journalist tend to slant their news articles to get people wound up and to concentrate on the negative aspects of an article. That is what sales newspapers.

I will agree with his statement that Bloggers write out passion for their subject. They tend to have a more positive outlook on the subject they write. I personally have stopped reading and watching news because I do not wish that kind of negativity in my life. I prefer to scan headlines and read my blogs.

The one biggest difference which i find between blogger and journalist is that a journalist never thought much about his/her readership on the other hand a blogger is one who write the content and then make effort to market it. So he works as both a journalist and a selling agent.

I love this video. The most important thing in this debate is this. A journalist will sign off: Me - MSNBC. A blogger signs of: Me498. But, the net will validate contant. If I say something off the chain, I won't get hits or diggs. If I have good content, I get diggs or stumbles or comments.

Thanks for sharing.

This is a highly debated subject. I guess journalists and bloggers are both different and alike, depending how you are comparing them. I still see the difference. I'm more a blogger than a journalist.
