I have always noticed that on youtube, the girls that are pretty seems to get the most hits, more than the others.
So does it help if your a hot girl on youtube? I'm sure it wouldn't hurt.

I definitely agree that it probably helps to be pretty on Youtube. I think the main thing would be that the person is well groomed. That shows that they respect themselves enough to take care of their basic needs. That's a good collection of videos you put together. Thanks!

So what does the rest of you feel about the subject?
Two words: sex sells.
Attractive, well-groomed people get attention. They're pleasing on the eye and people are drawn to them. If you have a commercial for a product you're trying to promote and add a pretty girl, your commercial will be more popular and get more attention. Might seem kind of sad, but it's the truth - sex sells.
I have a question about your examples though. People don't like people who are ugly, fat, bold, etc. What do you mean by bold? What's wrong with a person being bold?
FYI, Obama Girl is lip syncing. She's a professional model who was hired just because she's hot... the real singer/songwriter is much older and less attractive. They shot the video in about 6 hours, since the song had already been recorded.
That being said, she's definitely only famous because she's hot (just like the other girls in these videos). I wouldn't go out of my way to watch somebody singing a John Mayer song unless the singer was either John Mayer or a hot girl.

I'd like them if they were bold. I don't know if I'd like them if they were bald... :)

I still think you need good contant behind the sexaul front. People are only going to come back so much for softcore porn. But good contant will always hook people. The sex just make the hooking faster.
